چکیده
Sustainable soil environment along with available water resources is critical for food security and agricultural productivity. The Korea territory consists of 65% mountainous topography the variability rainfall rapidly increasing due to climate change, thereby a risk erosion. Soil erosion by has been estimated using empirical equations accumulated data over time in U.S. since 1930 s, representatively Universal Loss Equation (USLE) published Department Agriculture (USDA); however, this model not always well fitted estimations other countries because different regional characteristics. Moreover, application conventional like USLE estimation under change appropriate. This study employed erosivity past 30 years (1981 - 2010) recent 10 (2011 2020) observed from ≤60 observations compared them evaluate effect on Korea. relationship between daily maximum precipitation was positive (R2 = 0.66), but indicated central tendencies years. values southeast part country, e.g., Daegu, Ulsan, Busan, have increased last those more effective practical technique should further be developed ensure effects Mapping average annual R factor each decade.

Analysis of Streamflow Changes under Climate Change Using Rainfall-Runoff Model in the Kor River Basin
Abstract In this study, the predicted monthly temperature and rainfall data from HadCM3 model (base period, ۱۹۷۲-۲۰۰۱) and next period (۲۰۱۱-۲۰۴۰) under A2emission scenario were used to investigate the impacts of climate change on runoff variations in the Kor river basin. HadCM3 model output was downscaled based on a temporal downscaling approach (Change Factor) and spatial downscaling appro...
متن کاملVariability of Rainfall Erosivity and Erosivity Density in the Ganjiang River Catchment, China: Characteristics and Influences of Climate Change
Soil erosion is one of the most critical environmental hazards in the world. Understanding the changes in rainfall erosivity (RE) and erosivity density (ED), as well as their affecting factors, at local and catchment scales in the context of climate warming is an important prerequisite of soil erosion prevention and soil loss risk assessment. The present study identified the variability and tre...
متن کاملPotential Effects of Climate Change on Rainfall Erosivity in the Yellow River Basin
Severe soil erosion in the Yellow River basin is a significant obstruction to the sustainable management of soil and water resources. Any changes in soil erosion will have great effects on long-term planning of soil and water conservation in such a severely eroded basin. Rainfall erosivity describes the soil loss potential caused by rain, which can be expected to change in correspondence to cha...
متن کاملRainfall erosivity in Europe.
Rainfall is one the main drivers of soil erosion. The erosive force of rainfall is expressed as rainfall erosivity. Rainfall erosivity considers the rainfall amount and intensity, and is most commonly expressed as the R-factor in the USLE model and its revised version, RUSLE. At national and continental levels, the scarce availability of data obliges soil erosion modellers to estimate this fact...

The first step to controlling soil loss, is estimating of soil erosion amount. Universal soil loss Equation is One of the ways is widely used to estimate erosion, in which the absence of long term data. Effective force in the development of various forms of erosion is the power erosivity of runoff and rainfall and are expressed in erosivity index. This study aimed to evaluate the erosivity Inde...
